Flake decorative resin flooring

The Degafloor Flake System is a methyl methacrylate (MMA) decorative resin flooring, combining the durability and ultra-fast cure time of MMA resin and incorporating coloured flakes for an outstanding finish.

An ideal specification for supermarkets, retail and commercial areas such as retail, education and leisure, Degafloor’s Flake decorative resin flooring is suitable for busy commercial areas with a high footfall, where durability and aesthetics are essential.

The resin flooring system

The decorative resin flooring finish is available in a wide selection of standard finishes but may also be matched to existing flooring (not necessarily a flake resin flooring), including vinyl, terrazzo and ceramic tiles and is available as a smooth or textured slip-resistant finish for a wide range of sectors.

This multi-layered decorative resin flooring system is installed onto the prepared substrate in three simple steps; primer, bodycoat mixed with decorative flakes and a protective seal coat. Laid at 4mm thick, the Flake System is suitable for Medium to Heavy Duty areas and can provide an attractive yet practical decorative resin flooring solution to your chosen environment.

As with all Degafloor MMA systems, the Resin Flake System is totally encapsulated with two coats of clear sealer.

For areas that require safety flooring, the Flake System is available with a textured, slip-resistant finish to produce decorative resin flooring.

• Ultra-fast curing
• Suitable for Medium to Heavy Duty areas
• Laid in three stages – primer, bodycoat and a protective seal
• Exceptionally hygienic and easy to clean – a totally seamless finish without joints or grout lines
• Excellent resistance to UV light, physical and chemical attack
• Available with a smooth or textured finish
• Rapid installation-fully cured within 2 hours at temperatures as low as-30°C
• Exceptional bond to a wide range of substrates
• Seamless and impermeable surface without pinholes or air bubbles
• Exceptional resistance to chemical and physical attack
• Tailored decorative and slip-resistant finishes
• Resistant to UV light, weathering and temperatures up to 80°C

All fully cured Degafloor systems are totally inert and do not create a hazard to the environment in use or during end of life disposal. Full environmental product declarations, in line with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, are available on request.

Colours

Degafloor’s Full Broadcast System offers a seamless finish with no joint or grout lines. This slip-resistant resin flooring is available in a wide range of standard colours from bright Russet Red and Saffron Yellow to more subtle greys. Bespoke mixes are also available to match branding, interior design schemes or existing flooring.
